Welcome to Cyber Service Search--the platform connecting critical infrastructure and community organizations with IT and security service providers dedicated to supporting those organizations.
Critical infrastructure and community organizations can be high-value targets for cyber attacks by nation-states and criminals. They also depend on insecure and increasing complex technology to run their organizations. Unfortunately, these risks are not limited to the digital space, and can have real-world security and safety{:target="_blank"} impacts for these organizations and the communities they serve. Schools are forced to close and disrupt education an childcare, vital court proceedings are delayed and sensitive information exposed, the availability of municipal drinking water is threatened, and healthcare providers lose access to equipment and medical records that can endanger patients' lives.
Managed IT service providers, managed security service providers, digital risk consultants, and physical security professionals want to help organizations in need to become resilient to the digital and physical threats they face. We bring together organizations in need and the service providers that want to help.
As a Non-resident Fellow, Public Interest Cybersecurity at UC Berkeley's Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, I published a report that analyzed ways to improve resilience for critical infrastructure and community organizations. One of the findings was that it is too difficult for those organizations to identify and engage with IT and security service providers. At the same time, the service providers that want to help these organizations didn't have an easy way to reach them. The report recommends a platform to help resilience for critical infrastructure and community organizations find IT and security service providers who want to support them so they can deliver on their missions.
